Booked Toyota Hilux in to investigate ignition barrel. Was advised that is was one issue after diagnostic, paid for diagnostic, then was advised that the wrong part was sent by Toyota (or they didn't order it) then said they did another diagnostic to make sure that was the issue but it wasnt. The problem is now a $2,000 part. So we advised not to go ahead as we wanted to get quotes from other places. Then went to pick up the car and they have charged us for a part that we were never notified that they fitted. Was good that they took the labour off the bill but to have to pay for a part that we were advised didnt come.
Poor communication never called us to update us on the progress, always have to call them for an update. Ben blaming Toyota for sending the wrong part. Very disorganised business, no one knows what is going on, obviously doesnt have a system that tracks what goes on with each vehicle. Do not recommend. So over mechanics that think because Im a female they can screw me over.
